A Note About Journal Editing

I’m currently in the throes of editing two editions of the Journal of Learning Development in Higher Education (JLDHE) see http://www.aldinhe.ac.uk/ojs/. One is issue 3 – due out next January, and the other is a special edition about Personal Development Planning (PDP) … these days web-technology helps us to keep track of all the articles and papers submitted! We use a system called Open Journal Software. This is my second year as editor, along with my colleague Andy Hagyard from the University of Lincoln. We talk on the phone, or on Skype, to decide who needs to do what on a week-by-week basis. We are both learning how to do it as we go along!
